On this Veterans Day, almost a week after Election Day 2012, a growing tide of reports continue to come in regarding accusations of fraud. From outright poll intimidation, to reports of poll counts exceeding the voter registration by up to 40%, to untold numbers of absentee, provisional, and military votes not counted.
All of this leading to the question, Is the real president to be Inaugurated?
Here is an exchange between two posters attached to a story regarding poll issues in Philadelphia:
Anonymous poster 1 - Don't know if this adds to anything, but the day of the election a caller to Larry Elder's radio show was at a polling station in Philly and said it was oddly like a ghost town, barely anyone voting. What were the poll numbers again?
In reply:
Anonymous poster 2 - I am in Philadelphia and I can attest to that. It was very quiet, no long lines, except early before work - I was voter 150 at 8:20 a.m., and then nothing but quiet where I was. However, a friend of mine who was poll watching at a Library in East Falls told me that scores of people came in to vote and their permanent registration address was at a temporary rehab center. They were not in the books, but the Judge of elections was handed what I assume were "supplemental voting sheets." The Chairwoman of the City Commissioners office fought the Voter ID law implementation tooth and nail - now I know why - it interfered with their game plan.
I feel that we aren't even scratching the surface of the fraud foisted on the American electorate on November 6, 2012.
In an election where conservative voters were more energized than ever, we have counts that approximately 3 million "stayed home". We're even told that turnout was below the numbers for John McCain in 2008.
You might be able to pull the wool over the eyes of sheep on both sides of the electorate, but to this ol' southern boy, that dog ain't gonna hunt. In fact, it enrages me that those whom perpetrated this fraud think that we are that ignorant.
So, on this Veterans Day, November 11, 2012, we must ask ourselves, is this what we fought to preserve? Is this country still in concert with the Constitution that we swore to protect and defend? Are we truly free when we're told that we cannot record events in our own polling places? Are we truly free when we are told that a debit card with a picture, or a library card, can be used as acceptable Voter ID, but a drivers license from another state can't?
Are we so corrupt that we cannot even ensure that our troops in the field are provided the opportunity to vote for those sending them into harm's way?
Did we Veterans Fight For This?
